Of course, I headed right on over there to have a look see and smiled at what greeted me.
Swimwear for plus sized women actually modelled by plus sized women.
By Ro! Designs is the brainchild of Rosaria Vitale who started the company in 1989 out of frustration of not being able to find a stylish and flattering swimsuit in her size. Out of necessity, Rosaria designed and created her own swimsuit and from this one suit her business was born. By Ro! Designs is a one woman venture and all designs, patterns and manufacturing is done by the woman herself. With considerations for a curvy figure, she uses features such as power netting, princess seams and contouring to make the swimsuits flattering as well as beautiful.

I LOVE the blue polkadot one. Its a shame I don’t really have a use for a swimsuit otherwise I would have snapped that one up. I haven’t been near a pool in six years.
These are so cute! I’m really craving a two piece but I don’t know if I’d have the guts to actually rock it….
I’m a big chicken so I def wouldn’t wear a two piece myself but I love the spotty fabric of the suit in the bottom right side corner. I go weak at the sight of a few polkadots!

Thank you, thank you. So many stores and online shopping claim to have great styles and selections in plus size swim wear. But once you take a closer look, I have been finding that it is not true. I just love some of these fashions and really appreciate the information.
I don’t care for most of the designs. The boobs look totally unsupported and there is nothing there for a plus size hourglass. Pretty models though~
I have had two different swim suits from By Ro! over the years and I’ve loved them both. So high quality and well made they last for years! The designs are wonderful too! Ro will also work with you if you’d like something custom. I ordered the pirate suit but with a different top (cinch top that ties rather than the one that laces). You cannot go wrong with Ro!
Is Ro still making swimsuits? I tried contacting them recently but to no avail 😦
Trying to contact also I am in desperate need of one of her fabulous bathing suits have you heard anything else of whether she’s makeing them any more
