Unexpectedly violent but darkly mesmerising.
Surprisingly good and funny too.
Creepy. Twisted. My kinda film.
James Bond this is not.
Wooden lead performance, barely watchable.
Unconvincing gremlins-esque load of nonsense.
Haha, I’ve watched The Orphan and Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark very recently too. I wholeheartedly agree with your summaries, especially the gremlins comment. Man those are two polar opposites as far as horror films go.
Honestly – you expected anything but a wooden performance from that Lautner kid? They couldn’t even hide the fact that he can’t act in a 30 second promo!
I was hoping for a miracle!
